2 of 3 found this helpful This is a replacement for my Garmin 660FM which was stolen recently. Although very slim and tactile the 3790T isn't a patch on the 660FM.
My 3790T takes an absolute age to acquire satellites, it regularly takes up to 6 miles before the acquisition is made, which is very frustrating! The voice recognition is very clever and works better than I had expected, although it doesn't cope with most of the names on my mobile phone contact list when using the Bluetooth facility which is a real drawback.
The display and instructions are very good and the constant mph read out is a nice feature, but on the whole a step backwards for me, I really miss the music storage and playback FM facility on my previous Garmin.
