Remanufactured OEM

So far, it's been installed and used to turn on the new modified engine. No problem there. No performance or long rides yet. I will know more when taken to the dyno shop.

AutoMeter 5955 ES Electric Water Temperature Gauge

Accuracy...NOT TO RELIABLE

I have been using this gauge and the oil temperature gauge also from the same manufacturer for more than five years to have a real temperature reading every time I track my car to protect the engine. Just recently when I was performing some modifications to the car that decided to verify the accuracy of these instruments to find out that the reading of both gauges was 6 to 8 degrees F over the actual temperature. Since these gauges are already old and can't be calibrated, I decided to buy new ones. When the new gauges arrive, I decided to verify these also for reading accuracy to discover that again the reading was over the actual temperature by the same amount 6 to 8 degrees F. These where send back to the manufacturer for testing a week ago from this review. No answer yet from them. Unacceptable...
