Not suitable without a mat on carpet
The wheels have a very small surface area where it contacts the floor. This makes the wheels unsuitable for use without a mat. The wheels create a crater in short pile carpet.
The area where these wheels were tried had previously endured standard wheels for 15 years without this issue.
Needless to say, the original wheels have been reinstalled.

My home is 20 years old and all of the 1/4 turn stop valve are this design. Every one of the valves have frozen and the ball will not rotate; thus the water cannot be isolated at the valve.
My solution is to reuse the PVC adapter and the securing nut of the original valve and install the valve body from this order. I don't think the valves should fail, but the fix is simple.
