Simple to use, effective, safe on real wood floor, easy to store away afterwards
1 of 1 found this helpful + I bought this last week and so far used it once. Compares favourably to my more expensive previous one. Easy to use, loosens dirt including really sticky dirt very well. Safely used even on my solid wood herringbone parquet floor, just a quick glide over to loosen dirt, no long steaming or hesitating! but still v good results. Best results were with vacuuming first, then steam, then vacuum again for the bits loosened by the steam but not picked up by the mop (which still turned a lovely dark grey brown with all the dirt it picked up). So a bit of work, but so easy to do and use, and my parquet still gleams two days later.
- Only downside is the relatively short cord. Make sure you have sockets to change to as you move around, or a heavy duty extension lead (safe around water).
So it's not all-singing all-dancing, hence 4/5, but really overall, at this price, can't argue, I like it!

Delightful and good quality.
Delightfully pretty. Cheers up writing the dreaded shopping list. (Some people can just remember what they need to get or do - I can't, need written lists!) Being spiral bound I can write on separate leaves for different destinations (supermarket, local other shops), then tear out as and when I'm on my way. Good quality paper, so it doesn't curl up or easily crumple in bag or pocket.

Recommended, but not as good as the previous-generation stronger ones
1 of 1 found this helpful Beware the new flimsy plastic, they need more careful handling, but better than expected and work as well as the older stronger ones.
As numerous other reviewers have pointed out, this new generation of cyclone clothes pegs are made from much softer plastic. This is indeed a disappointment, I absolutely love my older stronger pegs, they have lasted about 15 years. It put me off buying these at first.
But then, this is the only style of clothes peg that doesn't drive me mad or hurt my hands/wrists with tight springs (I hate the clip grip style), so I bought a pack to try.
In the end, not as bad as I feared!
The thinner plastic means you need to take longer to use each one, aligning it exactly vertically, or one of the two sides will twist away as you push it down onto the clothes line.
Other than this, these flimsier ones do seem to work as well as the old ones in terms of holding clothes in a strong breeze, and in adapting to hold different thicknesses of clothes (another bugbear of mine with other styles of clothes pegs, especially the wooden dollies).
Overall: recommended as the best currently available, but not as good as the previous-generation stronger pegs.
