Effective, though expensive.
I have used this before with considerable success to deter commons-grazing cattle from eating and severely damaging my boundary hedges. It does the trick without harming the animals. It is expensive for what it is, but one bottle lasts a whole spring and summer season, and it is easy enough to apply.
Your star-rating system is not helpful. In my opinion this product deserves more than your 4 but falls a little short of your 5 because of the high price.

Won't last.
Too thin and flimsy to bear the weight of logs for long, but does the job for the time being.

Could be easier to use.
More unwieldy than I thought it would be, and its reach is not as great as I had imagined - but I should have realised that the measurement given for extended length included the closed length and was not additional to it. However, the build quality and action are robust, and practice may help me to like it better.
