Not quite the Sewing Bible, but a great reference book.
I bought this book wanting a sewing bible. It has lots of information and well-presented. Step-by-step photos are great, however, sometimes one wonders how it went from step x to step y. The descriptions were too vague. I have to look online or youtube for more advanced and detailed information. Notwithstanding the above, it is a good book to have for reference and remind you how to do things if you haven't done any sewing for a while.

Very poor quality
Firstly, the location is not London it's abroad (lie number one) Secondly, they say it will arrive in 3-4 days. Takes two weeks (lie number two) Thirdly, whilst the desk looks similar to the one in the photo it is very poor quality, rough craftsmanship and arrived damaged both times. Avoid like the plague. It is some dodgy factory in Holland or France spewing out substandard products. Glad I only paid £100 for it and £200 they are asking for now. And even £100 is way too high for bits of damaged pine.
