Nice Model makers wood work planer
1 of 1 found this helpful The planer is of very good quality and I bought two for model making however the second one is for rebuilding to make a slotting tool for making clinker built sailing boats.
The only down side is NO SPARE BLADES and the requirement of building a sharpening tool for keeping the blade sharp. A little thought, should you require new blades I would recommend that you source small lathe parting tool 2mmx14mm as a source of spares and cut to your requirements.

replacment mine plane spare blades
The parting tools are for a miniature wood plane that I cant seam to obtain replacement blades for
and cutting them to length are ideal for future use . However they require rotary cutting disc from the miniature grinding kit and allot of patience as the tool steel heats up during the cutting and requires cooling I recommend using oil and not water.

very good product however could be more versitill if made slightly large in size for general use
