"Last Great Slayer Album!"
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the last great Slayer album, a must have! I was 17 when I bought this record in 1990 and have loved it since. Not my favorite Slayer record (Hell Awaits) but with so many great albums, that is hardly an insult!

"Follow Up To A Legend."
This album had the unenviable task of following a land mark album, for not only the band but for the whole genre of thrash metal. And to be honest, a 15 year old me at the time of release wasn't expecting such a departure from their previous recordings. But not too long after, the incredible songwriting eventually won me over and again still not my favorite Slayer album (Hell Awaits) but that is not a bad thing.
