It works great
This was a replacement for the Lenovo yoga 2 that I had - a frustratingly slow, bad wifi connectivity, overpriced piece of "hi-tech" that I eventually had to get rid of before throwing it out the window. I just wanted something that works. I use software that takes its toll on the pc, and the lenovo proved to be capable of only handling light usage. My personal computer is a macbook pro that I've had for over 6 years. It's had some tweaks and still works like a charm. And even though the mbp has windows (virtual environment), I needed a dedicated windows laptop to run multiple programs simultaneously at work. All I did to this little beauty was upgrade the memory to 8GB. It's exactly what I needed. Yes, it's not as light as some of the other current laptops, but it's still portable enough for my needs. As I mentioned, I have many programs (simulations, image analysis, etc.) running simultaneously, which means the machine sometimes runs a bit hot - this is to be expected, and it's still nowhere as bad as e.g. that lenovo when watching a simple youtube video! I've had this HP now for almost two months and I cannot fault it. It came with windows 7 pre-installed, and I'm still using that - basically, too scared to ruin a good thing by upgrading to 10! Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
