Heightened resolution, wide and deep soundstage, and better bass...great purchase!
1 of 2 found this helpful I'm using these 1954 NOS 6SN7 tubes in my Woo Audio WA22. What a difference 1954 makes! Wider and deeper soundstage...through headphones! The resolution is much better than the 1964 stock 6SN7s that came with the amp. Super quite tubes and great dynamic range. The thing that really impressed me was depth. Usually, even with the best headphones and amplification, all of the orchestra's instruments seem to be on a straight line between both eardrums. Not so with these tubes.
With a well-recorded orchestral piece, the first violinist is right in front of you, left of center, violas and cellos to the right, tympany way in the back on the left. Try this with Charles Dutoit conducting the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in one of the best renditions of Scheherezade on London 410253-2 from the 1984 Decca DDD recording. The performance with these tubes is holographic. I used some good source program material...and a few different sources, and lastly Internet Radio...WGBH1 out of Boston at 192KB/sec-44.1kHz via the Revo Superconnect's TOSLINK output...and the improvement was even obvious with radio. No doubt....I will be buying again from the Tube Museum of NY.

Great sounding tubes...very detailed, holographic.
1 of 2 found this helpful Compared to NOS MATCHED Sylvania 6ns7 tubes, these Treasures provide greater detail and smoothness. The instruments in classical and jazz have great timbre and texture.
Strings are realistic. Piano strings full and crisp. Horns have a clarity that raises the hair on the back of your neck. Vocals are focused and silky. I hope they don't stop making these any time soon.
