A good scale model of the Challenger 1 t...

A good scale model of the Challenger 1 tank, although an old kit it was well tooled and free from any defects, easy to assemble.

Old but good

This is a fairly old, former Matchbox model re boxed by Revell. With that in mind the detail on the mould is sparse and many features of the actual aircraft are missing. Never the less its a simple model to consructve, very easily put together.I have yet to finish it so the final results are not yet available. I would say the its a fair representation of the actual aircraft but by no means a true and acurate one.

A neat little construction kit.

This is a vintage Airfix kit, tooling I believe was in the 1960's. Expectations regarding accuracy and fit were not great however I was greatly surprised that the kit assembled very easily with no ill-fitting parts and virtually no flash to be removed. The kit is a very good scaled down model of the actual tank with all the fitting in the right place and nicely detailed. A very nice piece for my collection of cold war era models.
