1 of 1 found this helpful Different TV's connected to my aging but fully functional amplified splitter perfomed differently and received significantly different numbers of channels, some of them pixilating, especially in poor weather. I upgraded the antenna to a high gain type, and intalled the signal booster between the antenna and the splitter to provide 4G rejection and boost signal strength. Thus, I now have the unusual arrangement of two amplifiers in cascade. I chose the single output Signal Booster because it gave me the facility to vary the gain, although I found the maximum gain setting was fine. The result is that my TV's now receive over 100 Freeview channels with no significant pixilation. An excellent outcome with minimal expenditure.
