Sudoku Puzzle Book Review
This Sudoku Puzzle book is contains puzzles which are nice and straightforward. I should imagine that each puzzle can be solved by filling in each of the blank squares with numbers directly without any 50 50 debates where a square contain one of two numbers and further analysis needed to determine which number it is. Because the book has simple Sudoku that further analysis is probably not needed so each number is filled in directly. That is really good because I bought the book for my Mum who is 91 years old. She is in a nursing home and the book presents her with a great challenge. For her to get the correct numbers in any of the blank squares in any of the puzzles is a step forward for my Mum. She has a huge mobility problem and has difficulty walking. The book presents her with a really good cognitive mental challenge in which any correct items she gets is a great success for her.

Brain Games review
In my opinion it is OK; not a bad device. However, it's really only the arithmetic category and the sudoku puzzles that are great. I find the other games unplayable since they require hard techniques to play and the instruction pamphlet is difficult to comprehend. The logic number puzzles come as a disappointment since I thought they would be something academic like number sequences but turned out to be obscure moving object oriented. As a general summary: sudoku and arithmetic are great but the other games are just not my cup of tea at all!

An Excellent Number Puzzle tester
I had a go at all the Number Puzzles in this book. My final score was 109 out of 219. It is probably just above average. I know that I would never qualify for Mensa because my IQ is never in the top 2%. However, I gained great pleasure from solving as many puzzles as I could and found that I my knowledge of algebra was very useful in solving some of the puzzles. The puzzles gave me the opportunity to put my academic Maths knowledge to good use. Pure Maths is quite an abstract subject but I found I could put it to good recreational use. I really enjoyed solving all the puzzles I got correct.
