Amtrak FP45
The model is inaccurate in that Amtrak never used FP45 locomotives. These were specific to ATSF. The number series is in Amtraks SdP40F loco range. The red nose is too orange in colour. Mechanically, the model is fine up to Athearns usual standards. For the price I paid it is good value, as a model. I shall probably repaint it to ATSF livery.

Not fitted to the car yet, but it looked good on the dry run. Just waiting for the rest of the MINI dechrome kit so all can be installed at the same time. 10/10 for value and service.
