Cree U5 lights
These appear to be well made for the price and work well. I have both wired through one switch and sync’d both to avoid incorrect syncing. Good light output, steady aim with no flickering. It would be useful to be able to switch off the strobe option, leaving main/dip only.

Improved lighting over original incandescent bulbs
Bulbs have only just been fitted and therefore cannot judge longevity. Previous identical Ring product only lasted 4 weeks and then shattered. 🤞for the new one. Apart from that previous Ring products have been very good in performance and life span.

ACF50 on magnesium crank cases
Hi , I was recommended to use ACF50 on the magnesium crank case covers to help prevent corrosion. I polished a small area as a test. These clean polished areas have not suffered corrosion since. The unpolished areas look far better than previous. My plan is to remove the existing corrosion with scotchbright pads and re-cost with the ACF50.
