Good for 2005 ninja 250

Fits and works on 05 ninja 250. Not to OEM quality standards (the springs are just sort of out-there... no sleeves or tips or anything). But it starts the engine fine and for the price you just can’t beat it. This starter clutch cost $20 less than an OEM rebuild. No-brained for a shop on a budget.

Perfect for how I ride

Put a hyper charger (stock pipes) on my 2004 vtx1800c and it ran lean. Got too hot under the seat, plugs were white. Did some research, bought the FI2000R, love it. Turned up the gas on the bottom (green) end, solved the problem. I figure if you’re racing on a track or are just a true HP junkie, you should spend the $600+ to get a power commander and dyno it, but I just like to keep my ride running smooth and like to get a little more pep where possible. For me, the cobra was perfect.
