A translation of The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam
It is a very good used book as described and I'm pleased with it. The Edward Fitzgerald translation is better in my opinion but I'm pleased with this one and I like the picture on the front cover.
Awake! for Morning in the Bowl of Night
Has flung the Stone that puts the Stars to Flight.
Compared to:
Wake! For the Sun, who scattered into flight
The Stars before him from the Field of Night.
And
Dreaming when Dawn's Left Hand was in the Sky
Compared with;
Before the Phantom of False Morning Died.
