So, How Good Is It?
Let's jump right in...
VIDEO QUALITY: Good to Very Good.
I'm impressed with the overall quality of the video and for the price, I don't think you will find anything close. The bottom line is that if you are new to action cans and want to get started inexpensively, I would definitely start here.
Everyone wants to know how it compare to a gopro, so it seems. I had a gopro. Video was excellent, when it was working. Didn't have the gopro hero4 long and it quit functioning all together. For 400 bucks I expected more, so I went looking for a cheaper solution for mounting on my fishing kayak.
This is not a gopro but the quality is close. You will get a little fish eye and the green leaves will turn whitish sometimes in full sun. All in all though after about 8 hrs. of video shot, I would buy again.
The camera software is fine. It's not great but I really dont have any complaints at this price point and it gets the job done. Takes a minute to sync up with the Wi-Fi but it does work.
Battery last for about 2hrs or so. You can hook up an external battery source like an Anker battery pack and record video giving you virtually all day recording as long as you have enough mini as cards. I use a 32 GB and have had no issues.
For the price, you definitely aren't losing anything. I will probably buy another one in the near future.
If you are planning on shooting video for YouTube this camera can be used to fulfill that role temporarily. Sound is okay not great. I say that because, a lot of YouTubers I watch use cameras that are very, very expensive. You aren't going to get that kind of quality but you can get started with thi
