Exactly as described
Exactly what I required to mend the poles that have eventually split at the ends after many seasons of use. I was able to replace where required and cut to length as required. The bonus was being able to salvage the conectors from the replaced poles to replace the top connector that had parted from the star connector on the aft poles and was lost. I thought £36 was expensive but I suppose you have to pay for quality. This has given me another season for my Etesian 4. THe Etisian 4 is the best tent I have ever had (40 years camping) and it is very unfortunate it is now out of production, if anybody has a recomendation of a similar, size, quality and light tent I would be interested to know.

Use of this pectolase post fermentation.
So I bought this liquid pectolase to treat some demijohns of cider that are not clearing well. You are supposed to use pectolase before fermentation so obviously this is just a try it and see. I have given it the hardest test in that I have taken the dregs of 5 demijohns with lots of pectin in and double dosed the demijohn with the pectolase as indicated on the packet ie 20 drops instead of 10 drops to a gallon. 3 days after dosing a massive amount of residue has dropped out of suspension and if the it continues I believe the cider dregs will clear. Using this liquid appears to be significantly more effective than powder which I used a couple of weeks ago. But as mentioned usually the pectolase is used before fermentation so any effect is welcome.
