What on Earth happened to Haynes products?
Unfortunately it is no longer a quality product anymore.
The paper is wafer thin, it looks like if I tried to refer to it whilst working on my car then the dirt or fluid on my fingers would go straight through the page and render it useless, certainly not like the thicker more sturdier grade of paper that used to be used, the printing is terrible, so the photos look grainy and awful to refer to due to the printing quality, I hate to say it, but it feels like it will fall apart in your hands, so I have put it on my garage shelf and have ordered a replacement electronic workshop manual.
Was Haynes taken over by another company/management or something, because the original Haynes company had some self respect and pride and wouldn’t of approved such a shoddy, poor quality product to be produced and sold to home mechanics that like to tinker and carry out their own maintenance on their vehicles.
