Not accurate enough

This device is good, but not accurate enough for perfect joints. The self centering mechanism is about 0.5mm out. Might not sound like much, but when butting two edges together there’s a ridge and if you want perfect, then this doesn’t cut it unfortunately. It’s a shame because it’s a very good design, if only the manufacturing tolerances were a bit better.

Great pump and filter, flow rate is excellent. I was concerned about the flow rate dropping due to having to convert from 50mm (on the pump) to 38mm (on the pool) pipes, but I measured it at 2.7 litres per second which is 9720 litlres per hour, just a tiny fraction below the specified 9800. Very good system.
