Onyx folding exercise bike

Cannot fault much quieter than I expected so no problem watching tv. simple to put together. light enough to move about but has a sturdy feel. very stable in use. Well engineered with quick release pin when folding to store away. Seat ok. console display works well Safer than being on the road and much warmer in the winter

At the price an ok present for a young child but could have been thought through better

I was close to not accepting as I stayed home for the 2 days it was supposed to arrive. Fortunate to arrive home day later just as delivery came. Small things could be improved. The screws in main box should be countersunk as they protrude and catch clothes. ( my grand-daughter has scratched herself on 2 occasions). It would be no more expensive to use mushroom head screws. Biggest problem is there are no instructions included for putting together. The rubbers that still have centres to be removed are I assume to act as buffers on the inside of the box slid over the players rods. If my assumption is correct the players have to be removed to fit them and as they are standard screws into light tube it should be a once only fit. In summary I have to say that there are a number of areas that could have been improved at virtually no extra cost if sorted at onset. The table tennis is pointless. Just a blackboard would be of more use. Highlighted in pictures are screws and rubbers. Regards John Barker

cheap rough. flimsy

to make it usable it requires more wood to stop it warping. Needed to be planed and also needs some sanding at door frame as all wood is very rough. it is sensible to pay more. I wish I had. Extras I put in to make it usable --stronger under floor. heavier floor. side stiffeners. more roof struts. x bracing as a light wind blows it out of shape and door will not close. Securing to ground. I probably get what I paid for as "free delivery" must take up half its value.
