Using this on a Nikon D7200
Bought this as an experiment to compare an old full frame film camera lens with a contemporary DSLR crop sensor kit lens (Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR). So far it's shaping up well. It's an ideal lens for portraits covering all the best FF equivalents of 50-75-110mm and I'm not a pixel peeper so it's sharp enough for my needs. Bare in mind it has no motor in the lens so auto focus is driven by the camera's focus motor, therefore it is a manual only lens with the D3000 series and D5000 series cameras (and any other Nikon camera without a motor).
The lens is lightweight and cheap compared to brand new lenses and my example works perfectly. It does a reasonable job in comparison.
It's a lens from the mid 1980s getting another go and making pictures for me and for that reason I like it. Your milage my vary.
