Good Ventilation!

It is a solid perforated aluminium slab with chunky rubber feet that grip well. It provides the basis for good passive ventilation for a notebook. I have elected to not use the fans.

S.M.S.L. SD793II DAC Performance review

For what is asked, it is very good, and in my opinion, probably capable of competing with DACs' at five times the asking price! This review is based on it used only as a DAC replacing that in an audiophile CD player, and not as a headphone amplifier.

Nobsound Digital Audio Amplifier - Good to Go!

This amplifier offers a lot of "bang for the buck". With the supplied power supply, it offers a lot more power output than other somewhat cheaper competing products in the market place. The TPA3116 Class D amplifier chip is capable of delivery an honest 35W RMS output power per channel and when used at the maximum permissible line voltage, can supposedly deliver just short of 50W RMS. (Many manufactures ramp up the power delivery as a function of Peak Power to make the figures look good!) I would like to think that this product offers a "sweet spot" with regards to power RMS v reasonable cost. Sound quality is good and the addition of Bluetooth 4.2 is a bonus if remote operation is required. With RCA sockets connecting to a signal source, it automatically defaulted to line input. I noted the presence of the Bluetooth option as "Bluetooth Audio" in my iPhone, so pairing is ready as an option. This product offers plenty of room filling volume in the domestic environment. It is no PA system, but then, it was never bought for such use.
