Cheap, poor quality...a real disappointment
1 of 1 found this helpful The product is made of the very cheapest materials and to a poor standard. The screw threads on the bulb holder are so bad that the bulb holder couldn't hold other than the lightest paper shade...the ring just pulled over the threads.
The fitting of electrical wire to the bulb holder was unconventional, very difficult to do and as a result of it's design left no confidence that it would hold any weight. Cheap screws, cheap plastic...it just doesn't work.
As a result of each component supplied in this kit being of such poor quality, the fitting took a very long time...and then I took down and discarded it as it didn't do what a pendant is meant to do...hold a bulb and shade!
It proves that one gets what one pays for as I've recently bought a bulb holder the same price as the set...but it's excellent, was fitted readily and holds the shade with confidence.
