For me - bolt on horsepower!
I bought this as I'm slowly going through different parts that need replacing due to the mileage of my 9-5.
The item is an original OEM part - no question.
High quality and robust.
I can honestly say that there was a noticeable increase in power and responsiveness of the car after fitting (which is a 10 minute job).

Don't buy to use with oculus rift-s.
This is not compatible with my oculus rift-s.
The signal keeps bouncing on and off.

Well worth the upgrade!
I upgraded from a 3600 to this CPU principally to improve msfs2020 performance and it really has.
Also, overall VR performance has greatly improved.
