Electric bike conversion

Bought this kit and eventually fitted it to my Carrera mountain bike. Rear hub fitted after a bit of coaxing but had problems with pedal assist as the hub on the Carrera is a cartridge type so had to cement the magnetic hub to the frame with epoxy resin - works ok. The brake levers supplied are for a cable system and no good for a hydraulic disc brake so did not fit them. I assume this is to protect the motor when braking however the bike seems to work ok without them.
