NOT an articulating head like Dyson floor tool
It only swivels side-to-side. Not front-to-back (like the tools it's trying to emulate). Not expensive, so it's not a huge loss. Same item with 4-way motion I would buy.

Crosman Optima Best "Quiet" Shot Varmint Controller
1 of 1 found this helpful Because the neighboring ranches think they are helping themselves by killing coyotes, they end up shooting themselves in the foot by causing a Cottontail Rabbit and Blacktailed Jackrabbit population explosion on already sparse range. Those of us bordering ranchland inherit the rabbit problem and can't be shooting 22 caliber rifles because neighbors can hear them and it creates some level of control envy as rabbits are too smart and well-fed to enter their lettuce-baited Havahart traps. Enter the exceedingly quiet Crosman Optima .177 caliber break barrel single shot pellet rifle with the monster scope. While we can't get them all, we have suppressed the very local population to a level we can live with. It's a top quality rifle at a great price.

Top-notch engineering & performance = good investment!
If you have significant bare floor surface area, the DC39 is likely impossible to beat. There are several ways to buy new and significantly beat MSRP. The "no loss of suction" over bagged models is real and significant. The "follows you smoothly everywhere" ball without tipping over feature is also real. Only criticism is that the tool you will really want if you have predominantly tile or wood/engineered wood floor surfaces is the articulating hard floor tool. It's not only wider than the "combo" head, but the engineering allows you to get it into virtually any area with ease. Once hooked on cleverly engineered heads, I found myself searching for deals on both the tangle-free turbo tool (2 dogs) and the multi-angle brush. Both work as described and ultimately worth the extra expense for us. If we can get ten years out of all of this equipment, I will be happy!
