Not accurate due to manufacturing misalignment of feet or warped plate
1 of 1 found this helpful Making the "feet" of exactly equal length, so that it does not "rock" on a level surface, would be a massive improvement.
This problem means that the weight distribution on the four "Feet" sensors varies dependent on how the scales are placed on the floor/carpet/ or flat board, and leads to weight variation of up to 5lbs.
Perhaps the flat plate is warped?
The accuracy therefore leaves a lot to be desired.
Maybe I got a "Friday afternoon" product. I bought these scales with the Salter name to get a more reliable weight, and expected accuracy
