Versatile washing
I had the occasion to replace my "old" Samsung washing machine that had finally expired after 12 years sterling service and was given an absolute plethora of alternate new machines ranging from the cheaper at £125 to the dearest at £430 ish and, after thorough research decided on the Hotpoint at a mid-range price. After about 5 washes so far it has performed admirably on all the variable cycles. It is easy to use, efficient and quite quiet and would stack up well against the pricier opposition.
A piece of advice given to me about 3 machines ago was that the apparent "life" of a washing machine was 1000 washes (the Samsung achieved over 3700) so I will update this review when the Hotpoint nears immortality.

A great dinger
Having a need to replace my ever-errant doorbell (mainly the push button and not the receiver) that was a quite expensive model a few years back I researched different types and styles and this particular one "rung all the bells" with my ideal check list. Okay, there's no need for 36 different chimes when one will do, but it is loud, portable, very low priced and extremely versatile. I would definitely recommend this product. Cheapness is not necessarily an obstacle to efficiency.

A laundry basket that you're proud to display
This is a lovely object that replaced a plastic oval basket at the head of the stairs that was cracked and broken. Now we can display it proudly whilst it carries as much as its embarrassing forebear. Rather than carry the whole basket to the laundry we transfer the contents to another basket while the wicker one sits ready and waiting for more. A really nice product at a good price
