This camera has my full endorsement. I love it, use it almost every day!
I love this camera. The translucent mirror makes up for the real view-finder that I would have preferred. Shutter action is fast and silent; great for taking close up candid shots. The supplied manual is not very helpful (none are today, they tell you nothing) but the online version answered all my needs. All the lenses purchased for my previous Minolta and Sony (have two now) cameras work well so I saved lots of money not having to buy another camera. The camera saves a bit of weight on previous models, which as a disabled person suits me well. Anyone who knows a DSLR will know this one and will soon have it working to suit their needs. The tilting-rotating screen is a boon for low and high-level shots. I have the camera set up to suit my working methods and I do not have to think "which button" before I shoot. If a change is required, everything comes to the fingers within easy reach and logical order at eye level. Battery use is good. I can shoot hundreds of RAW+JPEG images on one full battery. Images edited at 48-bits are brilliant with excellent colour rendition and line resolution. Mono images look good also. Skin tones rendered well.
