Nice piece of kit, good value
I'm using this as a controller for my wind generator on my boat (using a massive 1 farad capacitor on the input side), and it has significantly increased the amount of charge going to the battery, The charge is now kicking in at lower windspeeds, and for any given windspeed the output has increased by about 25%.
The instructions appear to have been translated from Chinese using Google translate, consequently a lot of it is completely incomprehensible gibberish, which means that working out how to use the extra features is difficult. However, connecting it up and using it simply as a regulator is dead easy and intuitive using pos and neg input, and battery pos and neg, all of which are clearly marked. There's no need to connect the load to the unit, although that is an option if the load is relatively light.
All in all, it's a nice little device, and I'm pleased with the performance. It was good value, and it works, which is all that matters in my book

Great device.
Great price, compact, good sound easy to use and looks decent too.
Also, it charges the iPod (when connected to the mains lead)

Big capacitors
I've not used these for audio, but for low voltage smoothing on my yacht, to remove electrical noise from my wind turbine. They do what is asked of them, and at a half decent price...
