Perfect
Bought this to replace a similar one prior to having disk brakes. seems sturdy and the spring part is great for holding a strap to tie things on with

Good... But NOT a dual cyclone
This is a good vacuum for the money but it does not have double cyclones as stated on the box... just a single cyclone.
As some people may remember the first dyson DC01 was a dual cyclone... the first being within the clear bin where the large bits of dirt collect at the bottom. The air then travelled through the small holes in the central portion where it was spun much faster in the 2nd cyclone to remove almost all the fine dust, before passing through the filters.
This vacuum does not have a 2nd cyclone in the centre... just the filter which therefore fills up with lots of fluff and dust making emptying a much messier experience and more hassle.
It does however work reasonably well at licking up dirt and did a good job cleaning the car. The supplied flexible hose was particularly useful and worked well with the brush tool and long thin nozzle. Not as powerful as a corded vacuum but far better than the dustbuster i used in the past
For the price I would still recommend it, but it looses a star for the false marketing, and the inconvenience in emptying that accompanies the false claim.
