Blackberry Playbook is a cheap, good quality reliable tablet- limited Apps

I bought the product simply for taking away on holiday instead of my laptop. I wanted something cheap, solid and reliable, easy to use and with quality display. It would be my first tablet, many people had advised against Blackberry because of lack of apps etc. I had just fitted CCTV with the facility to view via the internet when away from home and the availability of wi-fi at most hotels nowadays means that ebay, catch up tv and being able to find out info about local areas would be very useful. Because of the name and looking at the many available reviews, I concluded that the Playbook should be quality and reliable - viewing in stores supported this i.e. the Playbook fitted the requirements of quality, picture sharpness (essential for viewing 'live' remote CCTV), good and easy to use keyboard and excellent internet browsing. The other big positive is that because most people want apps & apps, you can pick these up cheap on ebay - which I did locally (no postage) and obtained a 32GB model in excellent condition for a staggering £69!! (a model that was originally well over £300). My only downside was that when I came to find the CCTV Blackberry app they only supported Blackberry mobiles and I spent many hours before finding the ASee app that works. Everything is now as I wanted, I feel safer when away on holiday and more and more apps are becoming available.
