PST 700 Review
2 of 3 found this helpful I replaced an old PST saw with this one , but find its poor compared to the old model as it does not have the option of adjusting the angle of the blade to the wood & hence on thick wood it has to be really hard forced into the wood, rather than pulling its self into the wood as the old model could . One cant be aware of this resultant slow cutting speed unless one has tried a few Jigsaws, and makers don't advise on this, I feel cheated not having a facility which the makers know is very necessary as they provide this option but don't say why on some models.

Seem ok , have advantage of about 40m range, so better than Bluetooth 5100/10 version.
Can mow lawn etc while listening to Tv sound/news

Bosch KEO Garden saw
The saw is a pistol grip which makes it very difficult to use cutting branches.
When cutting branches one normally undercuts 1/4 the way through to prevent branch splitting, then cut at the top to prevent the blade jamming.
But with a pistol grip and the need to push the safety red button it is not possible to get the saw to cut under the branch. (before you buy just try with fist clenched can you rotate your fist through 180 degrees ?)
There also seems to be a facility to put the saw on full power once one has been cutting for about 4 seconds, makes it difficult to make a careful cut even though claims to have speed control, Bosch help desk don't know if this is a facility or a design fault and the hand book does not mention it.
The storage box is weird, best to take a photo of how the saw fits in the box, as is like a gigsaw puzzle !
Cant get a spare battery as charger built into saw. No details of battery removal anywhere.
