Watched the 2nd bbc version of this book. Demelza gets tempted by a wimpy looking poet whose life was saved by her husband Ross who pays him back by chasing after his wife .Should have left him in gaol to die.I was very surprised by Demelza reactions .I thought she behaved out of charactor .I also thought Ross underestimated Hugh the poet.Plenty of other great charactors with a very randy vicar , nothing new there lol .Loved reading about Demelzas brothers not to mention poor George and his wife Elizabeth and their son Valentines paternity .All in all a cracking read which i recommend.

all these coins are pre decimal obsolete uk coins apart from the half pence which is decimal but obsolete and was phased out of circulation years ago / a good starter for the coin collector / none of the coins are silver by the way / silver was stopped in 1946 the year before I was born / the half crown was what my late brother and I got for pocket money in the late 1950s /a half crown each / it covered bus fare pictures [ movies ] and an ice cream / happy days
