Does the job.

This remote is being used with an older LG TV to replace an MR18 where the spring on the thumbwheel has failed after 5 years use. The MR20 is not completely backwards compatible but does the main functions correctly. It has one feature that the MR18 lacked, namely play and pause buttons (I had bought an LG infrared remote solely to have these features missing on the MR18!) This particular item sometimes requires more that one press of a button to register but this may be gradually improving, only time will tell. I don't have experience of the many "compatible" remotes on sale on eBay, preferring to pay more for the LG branded product.

Single cable solution for power bank used with iOS devices

I use it with a "power bank" which has microUSB to recharge but I need a Lightning connector for Apple devices. The important thing is that the Lightning adaptor is tethered and has Apple certification ( I have other adaptors that do not work with recent versions of iOS ).
