Great product
0 of 2 found this helpful The fire stick was very easy to set up and is straightforward to operate. I was a bit worried about my Three mi-fi connection as my chromebook is frequently dropping out from the network connection, but the TV (as my fire tablet) has no problems. The only slightly annoying thing I have found so far is that the stick seems to frequently "lose my place" when I want to resume watching a drama series. It's definitely good to watch All4 and Prime Video on the "big scree" as well as on tablet.

Good value, smaller Chromebook.
1 of 2 found this helpful I was very happy with my earlier HP 11" Chromebook, but after I unfortunately deluged it in port it has ever since failed to turn on and 12 months later is still a bit sticky to the touch. I replaced it with a 15" Acer Chromebook, but decided that a lighter, smaller one would be great as a spare and to use when travelling.
As I spend quite a lot of time browsing the internet - emails and online newspapers mainly - the Chromebook's speed at this task and the simple matter of turning on is great for me and much less frustrating than my old PC. After some past problems I have even managed to load up photos from my Blackberry using a USB cable and the the "Files" App on Google. As a treat, I have recently taken the Chromebook to Berlin and as it was very well-behaved it will be accompanying me to Rome at the end of the month.

Ancient computer person tries to gently embrace newish technology
2 of 2 found this helpful I just wanted a phone for my basic requirements i.e. reading my yahoo mail when out and picking up text messages, and easy to understand.
Of course, there are far too unwanted things for me (like Facebook and practically every other "app"), but I have taken a few bad photographs (probably me - I hate taking photographs and looking at them, after being subjected to hours of "holiday snaps" as a kid) I still don't know what all the symbols mean.
The Onedrive feature is useful, enabling me to upload my (bad) photos easily, after numerous problems with connecting ancient Blackberrys to a Chromebook. (The reason I bought this phone was because my ancient Blackberrys were, for some reason, no longer capable of accessing yahoo mail.)
(Who'd have thought that I'd spent spent 30 years working in computers? Although these were large ones and those 30 years were all in the last century...)
Anyway, I like it!
