Looks cool but the hadware & electonics are not very good.
1 of 6 found this helpful I was pretty excited to try these new Jackson SLX neck thru guitars! Being a long time Jackson fan, I was pretty disappointed in the quality of the hardware and electronics on these guitars. I have had many Jackson Guitars over the years, most of them made in Japan. These Indonesian guitars have a good feel to them, they are just not even in the same class as a Japanese Jackson from prior years of production. Are they a deal for the money? Not really! The guitars coming out of Indonesia right now look stunning due to all the new state of the art equipment, however I have not found one that I would use live in a band. My advice- buy a guitar made in Japan, Mexico, or the US.
