Replacement works first time
1 of 1 found this helpful Had to replace my original Humax remote because several of the more frequently used keys had become intermittent or stopped working. This one works perfectly - hope it lasts.

Easy to use flexible charger.
I bought this mainly to charge up AA batteries we use on LED light strings at Xmas. Very easy to use, and you can mix different battery types with varying degrees of charge, and leave them in as long as you like without fear of overcharging which is a problem with the simple charger I was using before. Only two small niggles: first, it seems not to cope too well with a heavily discharged battery. I had to boost one for a while on my old charger and then it was happy. Second, it would be nice if it remembered the low charge setting. You have to reselect this each time you use it. However, good product!

Easy to use shredder, not too noisy
Bought this to compact garden waste during lock-down when our local tip is closed. Feeding material in is helped a lot by the pusher tool provided, in fact this is essential. Sometimes it will get clogged up, then by unscrewing a large knob the top comes off easily and you can un-jam it. The hooks to hold the bag aren't big enough, I'm thinking of modifying these. Thin twigs may not get shredded at all, especially if they are freshly cut, so you end up with long thin bits in the bag, which was the only disappointment with this product. A replacement blade is expensive, but I see no reason not to keep sharpening them on a grindstone, and you can turn the blade over to use the other side. Overall pleased with it though, you can get about 3-5 bags of cuttings into one after shredding.
