A good buy but they are made of glass
I have had these scales for over two months and I would say that they were a good buy. While it is still possible to buy mechanical scale made of metal, all digital ones seem to be made of glass. I accidentally trod on the previous set of scales which I owned and they shattered. I therefore bought these because it stated that they were made of stainless steel but when I received them I found that the plate is made of glass with a stainless steel covering. The instruction manual uses the expression “Tempered glass surface”. I hope that these will not shatter like ones they are replacing.

Very pleased.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have now owned my PANASONIC DMR-HWT150EB Freeview Play Smart Digital TV Recorder for over six weeks and I am very pleased with it. However,
1. Sometimes it does not switch on. The “POWER LED/Remote control signal indicator” just flashes continuously. I found that I can remedy this by switching it off at the mains and switching it back on again. In the Operating Instructions it says that it can sometimes be slow but I would expect it to start eventually.
2. I cannot make sense of the value of time remaining which is displayed on the screen as “Remain HDD”. It never differs much from 129 DR which is the full value for High Definition quality.
Neither of these is a problem.
