Feel the power
Brilliant bit of kit, much more effective than the cordless Hoover that seems to always be clogged up at the pick up bend. The Makita can be used with or without the central pipe, so fantastic for stairs.

A great bit!
There are lots of dovetail bits in varying dimensions and angles. The router jig I purhased had a free collet dovetail included, which was not very good I needed one with the same geometry but without the collet so I could use a collar or bush on the router. This one wasn't too expensive, came very very quickly and is great

Great for camping
Its a shame these aren't on sale in the UK. I had heard of other campers and motorhomers using them so decided I would order as this is the only small one. I did need to pay import tax around £30.. The instructions are in Japanese but there is plenty of info and videos online. I am veggie, so was keen to try it with pulses which would be a good indication of how thoroughly it cooks. The very heavy inner is heated on your stove, then simmer for 10 minutes . Make sure there is plenty of liquid and then transfer into the outer jacket and drive off/go hiking etc. The meal will be perfect and warm still after 4-5 hours, cooked just like your slow cooker at home. I couldn't cook stews on the go without it. It is expensive, but superbly made and will last many years.
