Epson EMP-TW1000 LCD Projector, good value for money
I've had an Epson for 7 years and now has over 2500 hours on it, same lamp! I particularly like Epson's because of their rich colours and this one did not disappoint either. Reasonably quiet, auto setup is spot on (all I did was turn it on) and the ability to position the screen up/down and left/right using the lens adjustments is really useful and does not distort the picture.
Minor negatives, blacks are still a little washed out, but I guess this is to be expected with LCD technology and it difficult to get the focus pin sharp across the whole screen, but this is being quite pedantic because the overall effect when watching a movie is stunning and it connects directly to the PS3 via the HDMI and that's stunning too. Overall, this is an excellent High Definition projector, and the price was good too.
