The Thursday Murder Club New Hardcover Book

I've always enjoyed watching Richard Osman on TV. An intelligent and witty man, i was sure those qualities would transfer across to his novel. I'm afraid i was wrong. There isn't one single character that is memorable or realistic. The writing style of Mr Osman is rather flat and fails to grab the interest of this reader. I kept with it to the end in the hope it would improve. It didn't. I hear Mr Osman will be writing at least 2 more TMC's ? I won't be reading.

    Salem's Lot.
In my opinion, the best of the many adaptations of Stephen King's novel. Even after 40+ years it really holds up as a scary and tense horror. Blu ray gives it a new lease of life - or should that be death?! Very highly recommended.

    Poirot on screen.
If you're a fan of Poirot and his various stage/film/TV incarnations then you'll love this book! Incredibly researched, great detail and some fascinating nuggets of trivia. The author obviously has a great knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject and it makes for a terrific read. Very highly recommended.
