- l***a (706)- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseArrived in great working condition but the way it was shipped in a shipping bag instead of a box did have me initially worried. But it was well wrapped in bubble wrap. Over all good experience. Now I'm going to enjoy the sellers surprisingly similar taste in music

Got it this morning and already repaired two sails!
2 of 2 found this helpful This machine rocks. You have to oil the bejesus out of it before you can use it, then run the motor (with the machine unthreaded and the presser foot up) for a couple of minutes. Use some scrap fabric first because the oil will be dripping for a bit. After that it's smooth sailing. I used it for repairing sails with a zig zag stitch on heavy Dacron, with v92 thread, and had no problem. Then I tested it on a couple layers of thick vinyl, and the stitch was perfect. I'd watch the Sailrite videos on threading the LS and the LSZ if you're new to this machine, as the manual that comes with the machine isn't the greatest. Well worth the money for a few minutes of setup.
