Essential mounting plate for too box
This plate was essential for mounting the TRK 52L top box by GIVI. The top box is big so needs the stronger metal plate it fixes to. Fitting the plate was not a big job and went straight forward, and the box slotted into position perfectly. The latching and releasing off the top box with a single key works well. The box latches in position without the key with a satisfying click. The plate is well made and the supplied mounting brackets and hardware are good quality, the instructions are clear. Take into account what mounting plate or brackets you need for the too box you want and seek guidance if you are not sure. The cost of the plate needs to be taken into account when purchasing the box.

Great value top box
Excellent top box, but make sure you get the correct mounting plate that the box mounts on. The box works well and has internal straps to hold things in place. It opens easily and is quickly detached from the mounting plate. It's a 52 litre capacity model and so far has plenty of space to store 2 full face helmets but it would struggle with 2 enduro style helmets with peaks. No rain has leaked in yet.
