Simply Superb.

The camerawork is first rate, as only BBC can do it, the places and creatures fascinating, the commentry intensley interesting. Considering how long ago this series was made, it is truly amazing quality.

Superb camera work as always from BBC Natural History Unit, good explanations and excellent "science bits" , never boring.

UGH!!

It is the most dreary, depressing and pointless film I have seen in a long while. But the child (Hushpuppy) is beautiful to look at, with the cutest nose I have ever seen! Some lighter moments were provided by the "porauchs" or "aurboars", whichever they were, not the zenith of the CG artist's work, one hopes. Could be of use to insomniacs, I suppose?
