  Instead of packing the item in a box, they taped the label to outside and used alot of packaging tape. I contacted them regarding such. No resolution. It took 30 minutes and half bottle of goo gone to clean the item free of tape residue.

  Fishing rods in hard cases are customaily shipped by simply taping the label to the outside of the case, as was done here. Buyer should not have expected the item to further packaged. Item was delivered intact and in the promised condition. Buyer was advised hot water and a plastic scrubber would remove the tape easily. Buyer apparently did not follow that advice.
