TCM359V rocks!
The TCM359V is a nice cassette recorder. The speed control knob is fun to play with and useful for reviewing voice recordings and for creating interesting sounds and effects for experimental music. It is very similar to the TCM200DV, except it includes a tape counter and does not include the speed switch. But the speed knob gets a decent range on it's own. I recommend this cassette recorder.

The PMD201 is great!
The PMD201 is everything I hoped it would be and more. The combination of the speed control switch and pitch knob give a huge range of control over the tape speed, which is great for experimental music and for reviewing voice recordings. The selectable manual record level allows for purposely saturating the recording if desired. The build quality is very good too.
