Go with the flow
1 of 1 found this helpful All the items in the kit seemed functional and of good quality. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. There was one washer for fitting the tap mentioned which wasn't in the kit but I used one that I already had. It didn't seem to cause any problem.
I had a leak on one of the connectors to the filter which after contacting the seller was resolved by them sending a new one which I was able to fit to the filter quite easily.
The unit needs to be run for a considerable time ( 4 gallons run off) before using the water but after the initial black water stream ( quite alarming) was crystal clear and tastes great.
A slight problem occurred after a few days when the flow would not stop completely when switched off. I vaguely remembered a point in the instructions about high water pressure so reduced the flow slightly using the water cut off valve ( supplied) and all has been ok since. Maybe this could have been mentioned.....troubleshooting section in instructions? Another point not mentioned is that a constant flow is given if the lap lever is pulled up.
All in all I would recommend for convenience and ease of use alone but I don't know how long before the filter has to be replaced.

Works well
Was a bit dubious because of replacing a Saniflo which cost considerably more. However the unit arrived very quickly was of good quality and contained all the necessary bits. After installation it works well. I think I am on the limits of operation pumping from ground to attic but it seems ok. It is no quieter or noisier than the saniflo previously installed.
Very slight down side was the basic instructions. It didn't mention to fit the blanks for the additional inlets so I had a slight flood on first use...my fault rally. Also the outlet elbow diameter seemed a little larger than 22 mm which resulted in a small leak when connected to the waste pipe. I had to remedy this by using the original Saniflo coupling.
Overall good item, price and works well at the moment
